6 December 2005: The other day I got a neato packet of minimalist artworks from Andrew Russ. A sample follows, with one the third of them inspired me to:

I want to call these conceptual illumages--or visual art depicting ideas. If I don't call them litographs (my word for what most others would call classical visual poems), though, I'd have to not call Aram Saroyan's four-legged m a litragraph. Moreover, they have symbols that can be read as words. Ergo, I have to admit I don't know where to put them in my taxonomy. Whatever they are, though, they are A-1 jokes!
