Daily Notes on Poetry & Related Matters

April 2: I'm exhausted. I actually worked quite a bit on my new mathemaku yesterday. Didn't hit the sack till midnight, which is late for me. It's now around 9:30 A.M. Was up, as usual, at five. I hate my mathemaku, of course. I always hate any artwork that doesn't come in five minutes. Alas, it's still not done. The sub-dividend product has given me a lot of trouble, but I think I can get one the will work later this morning. I know what I have to do, and it will be easy. One of my failed efforts is this:

I really want to take today off from everything and just read, and maybe watch an old episode of The Rockford Files. Gotta get this entry posted, first, then finish the damned mathemaku.

Meanwhile, I've found out about a physics nut, Neal Adams, who thinks the earth is expanding. He has an obnoxious but fascinating essay on it here. He reminds me of myself and my theory of psychology--and he's a fellow artist, for he's a noted comix artist. Looks like I'll be spending time with his theory and those commenting on it here. I enjoy stuff like this, and I feel it should give me a good work-out in physics and geology, where I'm as lame as lame can be.
