May 25: Here's the full dyptich using construction paper I made in the junior college design class that I brought up yesterday:

It's slightly altered, with some touch-up applied, but it's close enough to the original. Is it too busy? I don't think so. I note the unifying principle of the cycle shown--which you can see if you follow the arrows. Something about pure geometry becoming organic, with the organic becoming pure geometry. There is a fair amount of balncing with placement of color or shape, too.
I do think one of these days, I'll try to repair it. I like it.
