June 11: First, an announcement about my Otoliths book, April to the Power of the Quantity Pythagoras Times Now. I only have a half dozen on hand. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with them, but I do know that I can't give away free copies. I get a small author's discount on replacement copies from Lulu.com, but they'd still be too expensive for me. (The one thing I don't like about Lulu is that it charges an $8 or $9 postage and handling fee per copy. 12 June CORRECTION: I've been told the charge is only around $4.) So, apologies to the many people I'd really love to send gift copies to.
Now, a progress report on my work on Writing To Be Seen, Volume Two. All I'll say is that I did get some work on it done yesterday, and am working on it now, at 8 A.M. in the morning. As for my health, well, I think I'm doing better than I was yesterday. I now believe I caught a bug of some kind a couple of days ago, and it messed me up a little. I ran very poorly, even for me, two days ago, and had the tough time undergoing the stress test that I reported yesterday. Interesting timing.
It occurs to me that I should post a work a day from WTBS here. That would take care of the next 220 blog entries, and publication of the book!
Better entries to come, I hope--but probably not until next week. Sorry.
