June 15: Today I feature three pieces by mIEKAL aND scheduled for inclusion in Writing To Be Seen, Volume Two that mIEKAL talked me into replacing with later pieces:

I like all these quite a bit, but consider only the middle one sort of a visual poem. The other two are labeled illumages--but, yow, does the connection of the graphic to the text in each specimen ever click, for me! Take the bottom one. If "therivation" means "theoretical derivation" (as among other things, it surely does), how wonderfully down to Ur therivation or derivation of the image (pre-Columbian New World, I take its source) plunges us, and how wonderfully both comically and deeply it suggests the sight-and-a-half investigation that results in theorizing!
