June 20: For today, another preview of Mike Basinski's contribution to Writing To Be Seen, Volume Two:

It's the first frame of a sequence called "Fraya's Song Necklace." All I'll say about it here is that it's too dense with mythology, a kind of multi-lingual archaeology, and pure lyricism for one of my casual impressions. It is followed by two more similar frames in the anthology--where they and it, I certainly hope, will be much better reproduced than it is here.
I'm off to my cousin Sue's until Tuesday (feeling more or less helathy for the first time in a month). So don't be surprised if I skip a few entries here.
