June 16: As announced at Spidertangle, my three latest columns for Smal Press Review are now up. Go
here to view the first of them, which is about C. Mehrl's Mad Hatters' Review
selection and her Words & Junk, as well as Kathy Ernst and Sheila Murphy's Permutoria and Mark Young's Pelican Dreaming. I didn't have space to say much, but you can bet I generated Big Publicity.
To view the second, click "Next Text" at the bottom of the first column. The third you can view by clicking the second's "Next Text."
The second column is about the infra-verbal poetry of Will Napoli, Geof Huth and mIEKAL aND. The third is about Geof's gallery of visio-textual art for Poetry. Discussion of any column is welcome, but I'd especially appreciate feedback about the third column. It was, incidentally, a bit of an attempted sell-out. I said what I sincerely felt about the works in the gallery, but was much nicer in what I said about Poetry than I really feel (and said in a draft of the column I revised). Richard Kostelanetz told me my "rhetoric collapsed" in my final paragraph. I dunno about that, but . . .
