July 7: My poor old Runaway Spoon Press is not yet dead: it will soon have a new title for sale, If the Garden Does Not Rain, by John Vieira, with some colored pages among its seventy. $25 a copy. This will give my company a record of having produced at least one new book every year for twenty-two years in a row. Barely: the book is really being published by someone else, with my imprint on it. Fine with me: the pieces in it are terrific.
